I am trying to duplicate VB.NET's Microsoft.VisualBasic.DateAndTime.Timer which returns the number of seconds elapsed since midnight.
LabVIEW's timestamp gives number of seconds since midnight of 01/01/1904.
How do I go about getting the number of seconds since midnight of the current day?

A customer of mine. We are interested in purchasing a camera like your PT20XNDIZCAM. I would like to integrate the operation of this camera into a National Instruments PXI based data acquisition system so we can log data and video in a synchronized way.
Is that possible to do with this camera? Do you provide development tools to automate the control and image acquisition in a Labview environment?

The goal of the code I am writing is to ramp up voltage by 100V/s while a button in "on," up to a certain value selected by the user. Then the code will wait (I just have it counting seconds) until the button is turned "off," and it will ramp down the voltage by 1000V/s, back down to 0V. The code should also always be graphing a seperate voltage input, which is the voltage monitor.
I tried to make the counting happen outside of the loops that are updating the voltages. I use a flat sequence structure while setting the voltages, so that it must ramp all the way up to the input value, or if the button is turned off before then, it will stop the ramp at the current value.
Currently none of the loops are counting as I expected and I can't tell where the program is going wrong. I have commented the code so that it is easier to tell what I am trying to do. Any help would be appreciated.

I have I VI that I am in the process of creating. I just had a problem that I don't know how to fix. When the VI is running, if I change a numeric control value by typing in new value and pressing, enter, the front panel locks up.
Because I have JKI State Machine installed, every numeric control I drop on the front panel has the 'Key Navigation' set to 'Exit state chart, toggle <Return> key assignment.
The problem is, this key is not part of the state machine!
Does anyone know how I can prevent this?

I have configured a set of tasks in NI MAX for analog and digital input and outputs (AI, AO, DI, DO). AO, DI, and DO all have channels assigned from within NI MAX. AI, however, has no channels assigned. At the moment, I am not using it, but will in the future. For that reason, I still have the DAQmx read function in place for AI, but since there are no channels assigned, according to the tooltip on the DAQmx read function, it should read no data. However, when run, I get 4 ghost values on AI. All other tasks read their corresponding channels properly. Because of this ghost data, the data logs are a bit confusing since there should be nothing there.
I have attached pictures of the task in NI MAX as well as the VI reading the ghost data itself, though it about as basic as it gets. The input (DAQ Tasks) that corresponds to "Analog In" is the AI task. So given that it has no channels, it should read no data.
The odd thing is, if I remove one of two analog input modules from the cRIO (the one with 4 inputs it must be reading from), it no longer reads those values. But why does it read them in the first place? I don't specify any channels.

I am working on a project that uses a camera and shows the image on the front panel. Both images are from the same camera, but I need to show different areas of the picture in each image.
The problem is both images show the same area. The windows work if I use the scroll bars attached to the images, but when I hide the scrollbars and use 'image center x and y position properties, I can't move the image. I need to able to move the scroll bars with the program.
If someone can give me some advice how to get the scroll bars working, I would appreciate it.

I am attaching a 3 position switch here. I need the sitch to go up when dragged up or clicked up and go down when dragged down or clicked down. But it only goes up when the button is clicked. How to do that?
Hello. I have a really simple question - where can I find the costs for the add-ones for LabVIEW Base and LabVIEW Full version for comparison? I want to see the costs for Build executables, Design application with UML-based statecharts, Deploying to FPGA and so on. I tried a couple of ways to find the costs, but it was not a success (why can't I add them to my chart as well?).
We want to use PXImc modules in our PXI setup but when I try to install the PXImc drivers from the website or from the NI package manager I only see the version for LV2018. We tried copying the pximc folder from the vi.lib to the Labview 2019 vi.lib but labview marks the vi's as broken and there is no way to look intoo them because they are password protected.
Does someone has a solution for or does anyone know if there is a LV2019 version coming out in the near future, or maybe even a beta version we can try?
Hi to all. I am using NI vision module to find a curve on picture. But in a real conditions the curve has gaps. In "IMAQ Extract Contour VI" help I saw "Match Constraints" options, wich allow to combine a few curves in one contour. If I understood that right.
I make a test image to try do that. But I didn't do that right. And got a few short contours, instead one long.
Have you explain me, how can I do that?
I am developing a program that by changing the state shows me the time in seconds in the state "1" and the time in the state "0", ie the sum of the times of the two states is the value of the period. I know the time but I still have a problem with the sum of the two times, because it does not make me the correct sum. The idea is to save the last time value of each state in two variables and then add them, but when I do that the sum is incorrect. Some resolution help will be helpful.
