usb to serial Trpp lite

Hi

I have a usb to serial converter, when i use it on hyperterminal it works perfect, the thing is when i tried to use via labview, it seems labview does not recognize that a COM is enabled or something, i installed drivers for the device but nothing changed

can anybody help me out with this?

the model of the usb to serial adapter is Tripp Lite keyspan model usa19ha
