When I closed a VI on Monday, everything was working fine. Now, when I try to open it, I see a white window, with only the green checkmark and the "0" from the error box showing as I try to load the VI. Eventually, I see a "(Not Responding)" message in the title bar of the VI. I have stopped trying to load and then tried to load the VI several times with the same result, waiting up to 20 minutes to see if anything happens.
Of course, like an idiot, I have not made any backup copies of this VI in a week or so, so if I cannot get this to run, I am kind of screwed. It is a relatively simple VI that connects to a USB-6009 and reads 5 single-ended AI inputs, then parses and logs the data.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could make this thing load? Any other ideas on what I can do if the code has somehow become corrupted?
