compacRIO, Use for Test device?

Hi,
we are looking for the automatization in a test for devices....Now we are working using like a box with Relays and doing this like manual process...(measuring with the oscilloscope...).
The thing is, we want do the process in LabVIEW...I was thinking about do one program where, using the drivers for the differents device in LabVIEW (oscilloscope, wg...) and with maybe compactRIO, we will have automatic all the process.

Any suggestions? What you think about used CompactRIO?
