My company has a legacy program, contains a lot of VIs, which was written in LabVIEW 6 and 7. I write a "stepwave"VI in 2013 (see attachment), which runs fine and saves a step waveform. Then, when I use the legacy program to load the waveform file saved by my "stepwave" VI, the legacy program pops out another file dialog box after I select the waveform file and click "OK" in the previous file open dialog box. The previous file open dialog box looks like Windows XP system theme file open dialog box. The second one (which should not pop out) looks like LabVIEW theme file dialog box(there is a drop-down menu:view all, custom file name,*.*). If I click "cancel" in the second dialog box, it crushs the whole program. I also tryied to navigate to my step waveform in the second file dialog box with "view all" setting, I cannot see all my file in the directory. See attached picture(the second problematic file dialog), I have more than 5 files in this folder, but I can only see these 5 files.
